In 2012, one of recent Tharos’ research was presented in Kiev (Ukraine) in the “II International Scientific and Practical Conference for Young Scientists and Students”

The conference was sponsored by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education.

This report is the continuation of the April 2012 publication, research that was made in association with the Ukrainian “National University of Life and Environmental Sciences”.

In March 2013, the research that combines Tharos’ work with krill pigments and the research done by PhD Dr. Ievgenia Zheltonosova and PhD Dr. Aleks S. Vіnnov was presented at the “Second International Research and Design Conference of Engineering” in Kiev, Ukraine.

This Conference addressed the status, achievements and prospects of the meat, oil and dairy industries, the development and improvements of existing technologies for meat, fat and dairy industries in Ukraine and in the world. Several publications addressed the creation of new approaches for the assessment of the quality and safety of raw materials and products, the use of non-traditional materials, modern technologies and energy-saving equipment.

The publication contains the proceedings of the second Conference (March 2013), and the International Scientific and Technical Conference summary.

Tharos’ work focused on Сarotenoids technology sourced from South Antarctic krill waste.
