Tharos’ solvent-free krill/marine oil extraction process keeps expanding its patent portfolio. On January 2019 Australia granted exclusive rights for Tharos’ second patent applied to phospholipids/Omega3/astaxanthine-enriched krill oil obtained from fresh raw krill, entirely processed at-sea, onboard factory trawlers.

The Australian market adds to more than 20 patents already granted around the world for Tharos’ novel patents.
